Make greater progress with your organisation’s sustainability agenda with direct support
More and more directors and managers are taking on responsibility for their organisation’s ESG, climate and sustainability agendas.
While there’s plenty of guidance available, it rarely covers the three areas that create the biggest barriers to progress and success:
Getting started
You know you want to tackle ESG, climate or sustainability, but what exactly are you going to do first, and next? And how you will actually do it? This is often particularly difficult for service businesses and office based organisations where the big impacts aren’t always obvious.
Building support
Building support for ESG, climate and sustainability initiatives and getting people enthusiastically involved. It’s easy to hit the wrong note: selling the so called business benefits can backfire, while advocating too strongly can make people feel resentful and uncooperative.
Keeping going
As a leader you feel you have to be positive and hopeful around other people, while you’re doing a difficult job in the face of truly scary environmental and social problems. It’s easy to be overwhelmed and burnout is a very really risk.
We can provide technical expertise and help with implementation, but our real value – and indeed our passion – is supporting you and your team to get started, build support and keep going.
Coaching
All our workshops and programmes include coaching to help you turn the insights, skills and plans you’ve gained into practical action in your organisation.
We also offer one-to-one coaching to help you clarify your goal and make progress towards it. Our approach is best described by the French term “accompaniment“. We accompany you on your journey, offering responsive support as issues and challenges arise:
- Being your sounding board and critical friend
- Helping you analyse and plan your next steps, then debrief afterwards
- Providing training, insights and advice as and when you need them
I was overwhelmed by the enormity of the climate crisis, not knowing how to make our work impactful and meaningful. I couldn’t identify where to put my energy. Now I am much more confident with a clear purpose and direction.

Consulting
Our consulting projects may lead to a new strategy or programme for your organisation, but the process always draws on the skills and enthusiasm of your team to co-create the result, and build your organisation’s capacity to deliver the project and future sustainability initiatives.
For that reason, the core of our work is bringing people in your organisation, and sometimes other stakeholders, together to:
- Develop a shared understanding of the issues
- Explore opportunities and define success
- Work together to identify, agree and implement a way forward
I recommend Osbert for his knowledge and experience, ability to deliver well-structured and successful workshops, and for his deep understanding of sustainability and social responsibility issues and integrity in how he goes about his work.

Facilitation
Sometimes you already have a programme or an event and you simply need a skilled, external facilitator who understands ESG, climate and sustainability to structure and lead the discussion.
We do this too, from board strategy sessions and away days to conferences and workshops. For best results bring us in early and involve us in the design of the activity.
We specialise in running sessions wholly or partially outside, whether at your traditional venue or in a specially chosen natural places like parks, woodland or moor.
